My Heart’s Longing …….

Therefore I recall
My heart’s longing for freedom.
And resolve to make use
Of every day and night
To realise it.

      from     The Four Reminders      Tsonghapa

The Buddha said that just as all the oceans of the earth have but one taste; the taste of salt so too do his teachings have one taste; the taste of freedom.

Meditation frees us.

It frees us from anxiety, sadness, alienation. It establishes a mind that can navigate every context we find ourselves in with poise and equanimity.

Hope you can meditate with us this week

This link will work for both meditations:

PS: Thanks so much those who’ve asked for details as to how you can contribute to supporting our meditation and Buddhist teaching.

We have FINALLY registered as a not-for-profit association and opened a bank account to hold donations in.

Kellie has kindly agreed to be our treasurer.

So ….. if you feel you are getting benefit from what we do and would like to set up a regular contribution or a one off we’ll be most grateful. No-one is paid for any of what we do – any monies above running costs / room hire will be used to make what we offer available to more people.

If you set up an ongoing donation that would stand in place of putting money into our dana donation bowl once we resume at the Croquet Club.

Kellie will also provide a receipt the end of the financial year so that you can claim it as a tax deduction.
