This Saturday night we’re going to screen some of the films from the 2022 Tricycle Magazine Film Club’s 2022 Short Film Festival.
” ……. we’re featuring five short films documenting Buddhist diversity around the world. Among the cinematic journeys in store, we’ll take a glimpse inside the mind of Thomas Merton, enjoy an animated tale about the Yarlung river, and follow the story of a strained friendship between two young Buddhist monks.”
Everyone is welcome to join us and a $15 donation will go towards our Coogee Buddhist Community Building Fund.
I’m particularly looking forward to one of the films that focusses on Larry Rosenberg who’s been so important in the Insight Meditation Tradition ……

PS: We continue to pay rent to use the beautiful Coogee Croquet Club and I know quite a few have necessarily needed to join us by zoom. If you can make a donation (especially regularly) to help us continue offering what we do it would be much appreciated – it’s been hard covering costs of late and no-one receives any financial return for our meditation and study.
PPS: Huge gratitude to those of you who are already supporting us
